Why this exists
Before we built the fountain, we wanted something that just could not break while we were at work. A pump can clog. Gravity cannot.
What it does about it
A 2L reservoir refills the bowl as the level drops, so the water stays at a steady height for several days. Nothing plugs in and there is no motor to clean around.

When this is the wrong product
Not right for cats who specifically need moving water to drink enough — if that is your cat, the fountain is the one that works. Still water is still water.
